About Dr. Danielle Wojtak

Hi there! It's so nice to meet you.

I'm Dr. Danielle Wojtak, a Naturopathic Doctor and owner of Root & Reason. I grew up in Wisconsin, where I knew I wanted to be in the medical field from a young age. While dealing with some health concerns growing up, I looked for support outside of the conventional health care field. I found a Naturopathic Doctor who was able to support me, and decided Naturopathic Medicine was a field I wanted to join!

I've been in practice for 5 years, and have deepened my love for working with patients who are dealing with hormonal disruptions. Growing up with painful periods was one of the reasons I looked for a Naturopathic Doctor. I was able to get the relief I was looking for through Naturopathic Medicine, and now I love providing that same support for other women looking for support with hormonal disruptions.

When not helping patients, I enjoy backpacking, hiking, crocheting, and gardening.

What is Naturopathic Medicine?

Naturopathic Medicine is a system of medicine that combines the power of ancient healing modalities (herbs and botanicals) with the knowledge of conventional medicine. We understand that conventional medicine has it's place and uses, but also understand that so do the tools that we've been using for many years before modern medicine came along. By working with a Naturopathic Doctor, you can work to figure out the root cause of your symptoms and use a variety of tools to help solve it. This includes medications, dietary changes, lifestyle interventions, counseling, and hygiene.
